Chiralizer™ Services, L.L.C. was founded by a scientist, William Letter in 1993 to provide innovative solutions to the problems faced by analytical chemists in the pharmaceutical and medical research industry. Our products can be found in most every major pharmaceutical company in the world. *In 2023 we celebrated 30 years in business.

History

The proprietary products of Chiralizer™ Services have been designed to automate common procedures used in HPLC and LC-MS analyses. Chiralizer™ Services developed the popular LC SPIDERLING ™ Automated Column Selection System - now used by most of the world's major pharmaceutical, chemical and environmental companies to achieve greater efficiency in both sample testing, throughput and in the development of new methods. We have more expertise in HPLC and SFC chiral method development than any other company in the world (and we are also completely unbiased as we do not sell any chromatography columns).

The company's name is derived from one of its early product inventions.  The original "Chiralizer™", as it was known, (short for automated chiral screening analyzer) was used for automated method development to screen racemic samples against several proven commercial chiral columns and mobile phases.  To date, over ten thousand unique chiral methods have been developed for clients worldwide. Because the Chiralizer could automate the HPLC method development and analysis of non-chiral (achiral) as well as chiral samples, the Chiralizer's product name was changed to the more popular nickname it had been given, the "LC SPIDERLING™" (it's  plumbing resembles a spiders body and legs).

Today, we provide a wide variety of automated instruments, training classes, advanced consulting and professional HPLC degasser services to the pharmaceutical, specialty chemical and medical industry.
